Visual Design Maya Work Assignment 2: Temple Modelling

For this assignment, we had to model the building shown in the image below and use the provided textures on it.

During the construction of this model, I had to use the orthographic view in order to correctly align the various parts of the building and place the pillars in the right position.

The orthographic view also helped fix the skewing that was present on the corners and allowed for accurate adjustment of the individual vertices.

 The central tower proved difficult since there were many interlacing components that were difficult to accurately position.

While I think I was able to effective create the correct proportion, I was unsatisfied with both the poses and the overall design of the two characters.
